The Falkland Islands are situated in the South Atlantic on an extension of the Patagonian Continental Shelf between latitudes 51ºS and 53ºS and longitudes 57º 30'W and 61º 30'W. They are centered about 500 km northeast of Cape San Diego on Tierra del Fuego, the nearest point of South America, 1000 km north of Elephant Island, the nearest of the South Shetland Island group and 1450 km west of South Georgia.
Port Stanley, the Capital of the Falklands on East Falkland Island will be our base for all Scuba diving operations. Be prepared for above water as well as underwater photography. With your camera ready you will enjoy five species of penguins (King, Gentoo, Rockhopper, Macaroni, and Magellanic) as they nest and raise their young, as well as Wandering, Royal and Black-browed Albatross; and an incredible variety of macro-life underwater. Diving will be dry suit and will be so exciting you will want to return to the area as we develop diving opportunities on South Georgia Island.
