After years of traveling the Antarctic, UnderSea What We See has joined up with very good friend Max Chernyshev of Poseidon Arctic Voyages, and two of Russia’s most famous icebreakers the Yamal, and Kapitan Dranitsyn for first class travel to the Geographic North Pole and the Russian Arctic.
These highly sought after adventures are a must for topside photographers interested in capturing arctic wildlife at close range.
These icebreakers will also be deployed as needed for our dive program, and the underwater photographer, as interest dictates.
Specialists traveling aboard the icebreakers will provide informative lectures about the Russian Arctic, it's history and abundant wildlife.
These voyages to the North-East Passage, The Geographic North Pole, and Franz-Josef Land are only accessible by icebreakers.
These ships are well suited for college/ university study programs, as well as professional film crews, with on-board lecture facilities and helicopters at their disposal.
